Mark Weiss is a healthcare entrepreneur, attorney, and former investment banker.

He was previously a founder of Steering Advisors, LLC, a lower middle-market healthcare investment bank and the founder and CEO of American ASC Partners.

Mr. Weiss is the author of multiple books and hundreds of articles on healthcare business and legal issues, and a frequent speaker at healthcare business conferences. From 2002 to 2013, he held an academic appointment as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California, where he developed and taught a seminar series on the business and legal issues affecting physicians.
